late Bezel! Pettway, Sr. and Georgianne Wheeler-Pettway.
He attended Camden Academy. He left Camden to reside in Mobile, Alabama for awhile then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to work for SeNice Master were he was employed for 10 years. Bezel! started his new advantage of work with John W. Rooker. He retired after 21 years of seNice.
His hobbies was fishing, watching the Braves, boxing and a good old western. He loved hunting but couldn't find a hunting partner. LOL. ..
Bezel! is preceded in death by six siblings, one grandson, and the late Bulah Mae Wiggins-Pettway, his first wife. Bezel! remarried in 1978 to Arlean Gresham-Pettway. From both of their union, 10 children were created-Theresa Pettway-Marshall, Mariah Wiggins-Frazier (Danny), Michelle P. Jefferson (Melvin), Eddie Lee Pettway, Bezel! Pettway, Ill (Shirley) and James Pettway (Ella Mae) of Alabama. lnese L. Gresham Moulder (Napoleon), Robert Shelton, Jr. (Delven) and Matthew Gresham (Carla), Cathy Varner of Atlanta, GA and one devoted play son, Corey Lee.
He leaves a legacy of love and memories to his beloved family and a devoted wife of 37 years, Arlean Pettway; two sisters, Susie Haith of Camden, AL, Doris McMillian of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Charlie Pettway (Patricia) of Austell, GA, Joe Lewis Pettway of Cleveland, OH; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Louise Shelton of Greensboro, GA, Lucy Kate Gresham of Greensboro, GA, Louise Gaine Pettway of Oglethorpe, GA; three brothers-in-law, Ira Gresham (Susie) of Greensboro, GA, George Lee Gresham (Helen) of Atlanta, GA, Freddie Lee Gresham of Atlanta, GA, 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.
