Was the youngest of three children born to the union of the late Willie E. Robinson and the late Mrs. Lucy Martin Robinson on June 28, 1918 in Covington, Georgia. Later they moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she attended David T. Howard Elementary and Booker T. Washington High School.
On November 8, 1947, she married the late James C. Peeples. To that union four children were born.
t Rosa is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Peeples and two sons, Charles K. Peeples and Julius A. Peeples.
She departed this life at Dekalb Medical Center on September 6, 2012 at the age of 94. Her warm smile will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Marianetta Peeples Lester (Larry); one son, Timothy James Peeples (Quinese); two devoted nieces, Rosa Lee Way and Lillian Bernice Gilbert; one nephew, William Wright and a host of nieces, nephews, one granddaughter, Tammie Jackson; two grandsons, Reonte (Keshia) Lester and Kenneth (Melissa) Alsobrook; great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins and friends .
