Obituary
Mr. Anderson Parks was born in October of 1905 in Meriwether County, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. Dan and Emma Parks.
He departed this life February 5, 1977 at the Muscogee Manor Nursing Home, at 5 :40 A.M.
At an early age he joined the Shady Grove Baptist Church where he served faithfully until his death.
In 1946 he was joined in holy matrimony to Mrs. Rosie Parks to this union no children were born.
He leaves to mourn his passing, a devoted wife; two stepsons, Robert L. Short of Columbus and the Rev. Eddie .Short of Indianapolis, Indiana; one adpoted daughter, Gloria Jean Reed of Phenix City, Ala.; an aunt, Mrs. Mattie Gamble; an uncle, Mr. George Palmer and a host of relatives and friends.
For any sacrifice on earth, Made in the dear Lord's name, Assures the giver of a place, In Heaven's Hall of Fame And who can say with certanity Where the greatest talent lies, Or who will be the greatest In our Heavenly Father's Eyes.
