Dear Mom, Thank you for the love you share, thank you for all the times you showed care. We mustn't be tied down to you with our tears, when we get sad we must think of all the years. We will grieve a little while, while you're gone, but we must let you walk this mile alone. We know your heart has found peace, so our happiness will only increase. Mom, you will be dearly missed, but it won't always be like this.

Dear Mom, There's so much I haven't told you that I know you would have liked to hem during this past month. Kandy and. I have been closer than ever and now I guess we have to be there for each other. Well, I guess for my birthday me and you won't be going to Red Lobster, but when I do go I'll tell you aU about it. Well Mom, you know I truly, truly love you and there's nothing can ever change that. Mom, I never told you this but sometime when me and my friends are talking about parents, we sometimes say we wish they were dead, but, one day I want to go on the intercom at school and tell them that they don't know how lucky they are to have parents. Mom, since I can remember you have been in and out of the hospital, just Mmch and April is the worst of aU and knowing that you won't be around with us, it's just so hard to think about. I am just only scared of now, Me, Daddy and Kandy are going to live without you. You know sometimes I just start crying for no reason because it's so hard to let go, and it's so hard to think about how I am going to put you in the ground, but we all know that you're in a better place and that someone is by your side Mom, remember I told you that someone told me that if you look in the sky and see the sun shining from the clouds, then you know that someone has risen to Heaven; Well" that day has come and Mom when you passed away I know you went away with power and pride knowing that you raised Me and Kandy the best and knowing that you married the greatest husband who stood by your side. Well, I'm going to close my letter but never my love.

A TIME OF JOY: The Angels in Heaven smiled as God blessed Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Mary Hodge with a baby girl. They would name her to be Revia. Revia was born December 15, 1959 in Pahokee, Florida, it was on this day God sent her on life's journey. A TIME TO LEARN: Revia received her education in Apopka, Florida. She realized the importance of education and she would later instill these values and morals in her children. A TIME TO MATE: Revia was joined in Holy Matrimony on November 30, and to this union two children were born. A TIME TO GROW: The family would move to Miami, Florida, where she would become a Secretary. She became a dedicated member of "The House ofGod" which is the Church of the Living God, u~r the Pastoral Elder G~ter. Later the family would move to Palm Beach, where she would change her membership to Apostolic Church of Jesus under Elder Jimmie Hicks, still a faithful member. A TIME TO REST: "And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest." (P_salm 55:6) At sunrise on Easter Morning, April7, 1996, the Angels carried her home to rest. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted Husband: Johnny D. Odom, ]r.; two loving Daughters: LaKandria and]ohn'nica Odom; her caring Mother: Mary Hodge; Father: Oscar Hodge; a dear Mother..in..law: Queen E. Odom; six Sisters: Mary Adams, Elizabeth August, Diane Gardner, all of Orlando, Florida; Shirley Ivey, Dotsey Duboise, both of Apopka, Florida; Lula Ligon, Eatonville, Florida; eight Brothers: ]ames ]ones, Leroy Hodge, Randy Hodge, Michael Hodge, Ralph Hodge, Oscar Hodge, ]r., all of Orlando, Florida; Glen ]ones of Deltona, Florida; joseph Hodge of Saudi Arabia; Brothers..in.. law: Willie (Rosa) Griggs, Roy (Juliette) Griggs, Kenneth (Villee) Griggs, Patrick (Elizabeth) Odom; Sisters..in--law: Mary (John) Rainy, Ann (James) Reid, june (John) Wilson; Ola]ones, Selma]ones; a host of loving relatives; a very special friend: Edith Reed; Co..Workers and sorrowing friends.
