Jamalh Gunnell Norah was born November 17, 1977 to Wanda Eason Norah and Gunzell Norah. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 .
He attended the Fulton County Public Schools and graduated from Riverwood High School in 1996. Jamalh's lifetime achievements include: a scholarship to Auburn University, but he elected to accept a scholarship to attend Tuskegee University and he served briefly in the United States Army. While attending Riverwood High School, Jamalh participated in the Bobby Crimmons Basketball Clinic on the campus of Georgia Tech.
Although Jamalh had no children of his own, he was loved by them all. He received great pleasure in tutoring kids in the community and spending time with his younger cousins. His outgoing personality enabled him to make friends easily.
In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters, Danyelle Norah and Twyla Sanders (Bob); one brother, Tony Norah; girlfriend, Keshunda Perkins; grandmother, Nellie Eason; six aunts, Jeanette Turner, Nokomis Perry, Gaynell Evans (Gregory), Olga Mangum, Deloris Combs and Pat Adams; uncle, Melvin Eason (Ann); great-aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
''Last Words'
Why do some journeys start? Why do some journeys have to end?
You weren 'tjust my son, You were my very best friend.
I can 't describe the pain, The pain I feel deep inside, I 've tried to see your pain and anguish,
And gee, how I've tried. You didn 't know the value ofyour life, Maybe you do now, now that you 've gone,
Out ofyou a warmth radiated, Out ofyou, your love brightly shone.
You are now free ofyour pain, But not so for those that you 've left behind,
We're left with the agony ofloving you, And at times that logic is hard to find. Because sometimes there 's no rhyme nor reason, Why things turn out the way that they do, So I will just remember our last words to each other, And they simply were, "I Love You."
