Loving .Husband, Confiaant, My Best Friend
I am so honored God entrusted my heart and spirit to become one with yours.
I will forever hold your love and laughter in my heart. Love you always Babe
~my only son:
No man can possibly know what life means, what the world means, until he has a son and then the whole universe changes and nothing will ever again seem exactly as it seemed before. In 1976, when you were brought into this world, God had a plan for you and that was to make so many people happy. I know that you will be looking down from heaven and asking me "When are we going fishing?" I love you, son. I will always be proud ofyou. You will always be missed in my life.
Love Always and Forever, Your Dad
When tomorrow starts without me And I'm not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me.
I wish you wouldn't cry, The Way you did today, While thinking of the many things We did not get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you,
Each time that you think of me, I know you will miss me too.
When Tomorrow starts without me, Do not think we're apart,
For every titne you think of me, Remember I'm right here in your heart.
On December 19, .1.976, God entrusted hls son
Gregory Noe1, Jr. to this world in the care of Gregot:y Noel, Sr. and Diane Scott Noel in New Orleans, LA where he acknowledged his sonship to God through baptism at the age of 9. Gregory continued to demonstrate his love for God in California through active membership at Victory Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jewell Peters and served as a member of the Youth & Young Adult Choir (C.L.I.C.).
Gregory grew with the church and served as the Armor Bearer for the current leader Pastor Martin Peters until he moved from California to Georgia and joined the Cornerstone Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Augustus T. Curry.
Gregory always referred to Oakland, CA as his hometown because there he began his greatest life journeys -manhood and fatherhood. Some of Gregory's greatest, lifelong friendships began and are rooted in Oakland; as is his favorite football team the Oakland Raiders and the Fugitives Motorcycle Club of which Gregory was a member.
In 2005, as Gregory completed his transition into manhood, God gave Gregory his missing rib, Allison (Linder) Noel. The two were instantly inseparable, became best friends, embodied love as God ordained, and united in marriage.
Gregory believed in providing for and protecting his family. Gregory used his experience as a licensed truck driver to fulfill a lifelong dream; and became the successful owner ofJust Us Trucking, LLC in 2012. Gregory turned his love for people and fun into a career of Entertainment Security. He worked with A.G. Entertainment and Executive Security Services Consulting, where he left a lasting impression on popular celebrity entertainers, the Atlanta night life and entertainment market, and forged many great friendships.
Because of his humble, gentle, and compassionate spirit, Gregory's intimidating physical stature made others feel safe not scared.
Oregory never met a stranger,.and he made friendships everywherehe went that thrived in spite of distance or time. Many of these friendships gave Gregory brothers he wasn't blessed with through blood. Gregory was a selfless man who never hesitated to make personal sacrifices to provide for and show his love for his family and friends.
Gregory returned to God and joined these loved ones: Diane Scott Noel (mother), Leona Mae Scott (great grandmother), and Derrick "Big Moose" Simmons (lifelong friend/brother).
Gregory's legacy will continue through his children: Gregory III, Desiree, Taylor, Khalid, Kalyn, Kaleb, and Kaley.
Gregory's memory will be kept alive by his loving wife Allison; his Parents Gregory and Demetria Noel, Sr. and Pastor Larry and Carolyn Linder; Grandparents- Lillie Mae Scott Blakeley, Helen Noel, and Phillip Thompson; Siblings- LaShandra Noel and Nekita (Kenneth) Noel, Keenan (Hiltza) Linder, and Laurance Linder; Nieces and Nephews- Keenan, Ka'Sha, Trinity, Dontre, Donovan, and Olamide; God-Children - Shonquel, Destiny, Michael, and Aaron, Jr.; and, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, extended family, and an abundance of friends.
Gregory will rest peacefully knowing his lifelong friend/brother Alistar "Al" (Stephanie) Palmer and Marquita Gladney will stand in his place in caring for his family as God-Parents; along with family, friends, and his children's other God-Parents.
Gregory impacted the lives of many and will be missed, but his spirit will live in the memories of all who loved him and were blessed to know him.
