Louise attended the Mount Zion School near Buckhead, Georgia.
Louise was united in marriage to Willie Emerson Shepherd To this union four children were born. The sons and her husbandpreceded her in death.
Louise received aGED in floyd County and later became

(Perry, Georgia), Reginald Peek (Madison, Georgia), Dr. Karen L. (Dexter) Warrior (Lithonia, Georgia), ten greatgrandchildren, eleven great- great grandchildren, and a host ofnieces, nephews, cousins andfriends.

Louise married Fishman Newberry and continued her nursing career by working ai a nursing home in Perry,
Georgia. After the death of!Yir. Newbery, she moved back
to Madison to help care for her elderly parents. She worked at the nursing home in Madison, Georgia until she retired
Louise accepted C1trist at an early age and was later added to the Moran County Church of Christ She remained faithful until her death. She always had a quiet spirit and lived peacefully with her neighbors andfriends. Co/ossian 3:.15 was her goal "Let peace of God rule in your hearts to whicli. also you are called in one body; and be thankful"
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Minnie S. Peek (Madison, Georgia) and Mrs. Edith T. Smith (Perry, Georgia), two sisters, Mrs. Lillie pearl Orr (Opa Locka, Florida) and Mrs. Ann (Tommie) Freeman (Lithonia, Georgia), five grandchildren: Mrs. Jacquelyn (Charleston) Thomas (Perry, Georgia), Carlos Montgomery (Odum, GeorgiaO< Nebuch Adnezzar (Brenda) Montgomery
