When Peace, L~ke a River
(/tIs Wen with My Soul)
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows, like sea billows, roll; Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. Refrain It is well, (It is well) With my soul (With my soul) It is well, It is well with my soul.
If When You Give the Best (He Undt!ntands, He11 Say, ..Well Dollt!")
If when you gi.ve the best of your service, Telling the world that the Savior is come; Be not dismayed when men dont believe you; He11 understands; He 1 ll say, 0 Well done.u Refrain Oh, when I come to the end of my journey, Weary of life and the battle is won; Carrying the staff and cross of redemption, He11 understand, and say, 0 Well done.u
PEACE BE THINE God saw the road was getting rough,
The hills were hard to climb. He gently ciosed those loving eyes and whispered
Peace be thine.
The weary hours, the days ofpain, The sleepless nights are passed.
The ever patient, worn.out frame has found, Sweet rest at last,
