We shall be one again Each in their time God calls. His faithful home And though we doubt not the time will come
It is not ours to know what day or why The hour will come for some to say goodbye.
The book is never closed and page by page The moving finger writes for every age And soon or late however near or far Each in our time must cross the fateful bar.
O ur faith sustains us ever as we grieve That some we dearly love must take their leave. But dearer yet to God their souls m ust be Who called them home to share eternity? We shall be one agai n with those who mourn Who from the circle of our love were borne To some divine appointment more sublime We wait the call to following in our time. We shall be one again, let faith be true For Heaven's rapture we shall savor too We shall be one again just as before In sweet communion on that other shore.

we shall be as one.. . we shall be as one.. . we shall be as one.. .
And then when you must
come this way alone,
I'llgreetyou with a smile And '~ "Welcome Home"

Florence was preceded in death by her parents Ezekiel Glover Sr. and Maggie Pierce Glover; two brothers, Ryan Mitchell, Ezekiel Glover Jr. , two sisters, Lucille Glover and Lena Douglas; her husband, Edward Mitchell Sr. , son Edward Mitchell Jr. , and daughter, Carolyn Ann Mitchell Odum.
Born on October 19, 1912 in Lowndes County, Montgomery, Alabama, Florence Glover was the beloved, and devoted daughter of the late Ezekiel Glover and Maggie Pierce Glover.
On February 29, 1932, Florence married the late Edward Mitchell, Sr. and remained in Montgomery, Alabama. Florence confessed her sins to Christ and received him as her Savior early in life as she joined the flock (congregation) of Ebenezer A.M.E Zion Church; where she sang in the Choir and served faithfully until her beloved husband homecoming (death).
Florence then moved to Riverdale, Georgia with her daughter Gloria MitchellMcCain, but remained faithful through her benevolent monthly offerings to Ebenezer A.M.E. During her life in Riverdale, Georgia Florence worked diligently and successfully with Camp Truitt Senior Citizen in Atlanta, Georgia and Christian City in Union City, GA.
There was never a stranger in Florence's life, with her beautiful smile, eagerness to help and befriend others she had a way with people. Florence was a loving and caring wife, a devoted mother, a zealous co-worker (employed at Sears & Roebuck and Allen Goldman for several years), a loving sister, a loving daughter, devoted sister, a loyal friend, and a good neighbor who lived her life in accordance to God's Golden Rule. To know Florence was to love her and because we all do we are here today to share her life.
