A Son's Poem
FOR ALL THE SACRIFICES' THAT YOU HAVE MADE TO RAISE THREE BOYS INTO MEN. FOR TEACHING US HOW TO LOVE, HONOR AND RESPECT EACH OTHER.
WE APPRECIATE YOU, A MOTHER WHO TRULY GAVE OF HERSELF AND DID WITHOUT, SO WE COULD HAVE FOOD TO EAT AND A PLACE TO CALL HOME.
GROWING UP, WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT WE WERE NOT RICH, I GUESS IT WAS JUST BECAUSE YOU FED US WITH THE WORD OF GOD, QUENCHED OUR THIRST WITH
THE HOLY SPIRIT AND GAVE US A FATHER LIKE NO OTHER, WHO LED BY EXAMPLE LONG BEFORE WE WERE BORN. SO, TODAY WE SALUTE YOU ON YOUR HOMEGOING. WE OWE A GREAT DEBT OF THANKS TO YOU FOR SHAPING US INTO THE MEN WE ARE,
NOT PERFECT NOR WITHOUT FAULT. WE ARE TRULY GRATEFUL THAT YOU SHARED WITH US THE TREASURE FROM YOUR VAULT. WHO SAYS THAT A SINGLE MOTHER CAN'T RAISE A BOY INTO A MAN? YOU DID IT WITH LOVE AND A VERY
STRONG HAND. AND FOR THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR HERO.
A Daughters' Poem
My Heart Wept
My heart wept on that sorrowful day, the day you left. I will always hold close to my heart the wonderful memories we shared as mother and daughter. Like the times we talked (you talked I listened)
and you would advise or scold me on life's little situations. The many times we baked together (you baked I ate) Or when we watched the soaps together and yelled out loud (Victor Newman just ain't no good!!) Or when we just sat quietly and did nothing.
I didn't get to say just one more time" I LOVE YOU", but you know it's true, half of my heart
with me on earth, the rest in heaven with you
I LOVE YOU MOM!!
ith Your daugthter'sEd & Vicky
You are a honor to every letter in the word "GRANDMA" You gave us whoopings and the best cakes around, at the
same time while rolling in your wheel chair. You remembered every important date and made sure you
gave every kid big hugs and kisses. You asked for only the best in all of us and fussed if you got anything less.
You NEVER let us down. You dedicated yourself to the happiness of your entire family. And you made a way out of no way when you had to, when no one else knew how.
Most of all, you adored your family just the same as God ADORED YOU!!
We Love You Grandma and will truly miss you till we meet again Love your grandchildren & great grandchildren
