Wallace "Tip" Millner, Sr., son of Mrs. Rosa Wilson Millner and the late James Millner, was born in Rockingham County on June 3, 1939. Following several months of illness, he departed this life in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Tuesday morning, January 12, 1982.
He was a member of the Little Salem Christian Church and was a former employee of the Fieldcrest Mills, Inc.
He leaves to mourn their loss: his wife, Mrs. Lena Hall Millner of the home; one daughter, Miss Louise Millner and one son, Wallace Millner, Jr. of the home; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Annie Bell McLaughlin of Reidsville; one stepson, John A. Settle of New York, New York; his mother, Mrs. Rosa W. Millner of Reidsville; one brother, Curtis Lee Millner of Reidsville; two step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
