Mrs. Thelma D. Middlebrooks. a well known
resident of Atlanta. Georgia. was born July 4. 1916 to Mrs. Clyde Lester and Mr. Samuel Davis in Haddock. Georgia. She was married to the late Clarence Middlebrooks.
She joined Turner Monumental African Methodist Episcopal Church under the leadership of Rev. Gabriel S.
Hardeman and served in Choir # 1.
Survivors include a devoted daughter. Mrs. Annie M. Long; sons. Louis and Ulysses Jones. seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister. Mrs. Veta Lindsey; son-in-law. Oliver Long; daughters-in-law. Mrs. Ester Jones and Mrs. Freeda Jones; niece. Mrs. Thelma Felder. a host of nephews. cousins and friends.
