OBITUARY
January 8, 18!16-February 20, 1975
Mrs. Annie Garland Merriweather was born on January 8, 1896 to thfJ parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Garland in Monticello,
na. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Arthur Merriweather on
December 1, 1911. To this union five children were born, four of which survive.
Mr ~. Merriweatherjoined.the St. PaulA.M.E. Church after moving I o Macon. She was an active and dedicated member until her failed in rfJcent years. She was a member of United Protective Brothers and Sist er ociety. On February 20, 1975, Mrs. Merriweather departed this life after a sudden iUness. She was a devoted wife, mother, and qrandmother.
Surv~vor are four children, Mrs. Annie M. Hoskins of Macon, Mrs. ('hnstin Glasco ofPh 'ladelphia, P nn., George Merriweather of Akron, Ohiu, and A1thur Merriweather of Steelton, Pa.; one brother, Mr. .hmmy Garland of Macon, Ga.; nine grandchildren; eleven great rJrandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a host of relat?'ves and (riends.
