Obituary
After an extended illness , on Tuesday , October I0 , 1989, God in his infinite wisdom gently closed the eyes of our beloved relative and friend , Mrs. Eddie Mae McMichael.
She was the daughter of the late Eddie and Mary Eliza Sands of Jasper County.
For many years she was a member ofMt. Olive Baptist Church , Monticello, Georgia.
Those who cherish her memories are : two sons, Joseph E. McMichael and Samuel McMichael, both of Monticello , Georgia; three daughters, Sally Tuggle of Sacramento, California; Synoval H. McMichael of Atlanta , Georgia; and Etta M. McMichael of Monticello , Georgia. Four grandchildren , two greatgrandchildren, two brothers , Jessie Sands of Detroit, Michigan; Clarence Sands of Jackson , Georgia , one sister , Hattie Gordon of Monticello , Georgia; numerous nie"'es , nephews and cousins. Two sisters-in-law, Caroline Johnson and Minnie M. McMichael , both of Monticello , Georgia, two brothers-in-law, Elijah Johnson and Willie Gordon , both of Monticello , Georgia, one daughterin-law , Wanda McMichael of Monticello, Georgia, and devoted friends , Pauline Myrick of Forsyth, Georgia; Bobby King of Monticello, Georgia and Eddie Webb of Atlanta, Georgia.
