We are eternally grateful for the acts of kindness, services rendered, comfort, support and prayers during the passing of our loved one. We would like to extend a special expression of thanks and appreciation to the Ben Hill United Methodist Church family. May God continuously bless each of you.
Miss Me But, Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little, but not too long And with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared.
Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we must all take
And each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's Plan,
A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me but let me go.

Jean Gragg McGuire was born in San Francisco, California on February 13,1949 to the late Eunice Hardin Gragg and Clarence Wiley Gragg. She grew up in Acworth, Georgia then moved to Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from C.L. Harper High School in 1967.
Early on in her career Jean began working as an account executive for Shell Oil Company where she was employed for over 20 years. Later, she founded her own company, Adaka Enterprises LLC, where she worked as a Master Builder in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jean lived an abundant life. She was a sacrificing mother, a larger than life grandmother, a loving mother-in-law and a devoted friend. Her spirit was evident of God's divine word working through her and with her during her life. Jean believed in God as her Lord and Savior with a profound understanding that God was the source of her being. She was surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law and two beautiful grandchildren when she made her transition.
Jean leaves to cherish her sweet memories her daughter: Tamica Yulonda McGuire Duval, (Dr. Jamal Duval), two grandchildren; Paul David Duval and London Bella Duval; four sisters: Denise Reid, Jill Gresham, Joyce (Willie) Harris and Joanne Perkins; two brothers: Jack (Beverly) Walker and Jan Gragg, along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and devoted friends.
