Our dear, dear sweet Gloria How we dread to see this day. That perfect circle offourteen
Has begun to slip away. A breach in the ring we knew Would eventually come someday. We ask for strength frotn God now
To just show us the way. The pain and sorrow we share at this time,
Will somehow be replaced with joy. To think about all the memories we shared,
Thank God they can't be destroyed. So as Mommy and Daddy run to the Pearlie
Gates to welcome their child, Remember to tell them to reserve the places For thirteen that will be coming after a while. Don't worry about your precious children
They will be okay, There are lot's ofpeople that love them And prepared to help out along the way. So Flo, this is not good-bye, nor is this the end,
God just chose you first To start the new circle He is about to begin.

Gloria Louise McElheney was born September 18, 1951 to the late Cooley Van and Alice Neal McElheney. God called her home on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Rockdale Medical Center. She attended R. L. Cousins High School in Covington, Georgia. She was employed by the Newton County Board of Education for 27 years.
In 1980, she was united in holy matrimony to Capers Blackwell who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillie Anne McElheney.
At an early age, "Flo" accepted Christ as her personal saviour. She joined the Rock Creek Baptist Church in Mansfield, Georgia, where she served as a faithful member in several capacities until her untimely departure. Most recently, she served as the President of the Gospel Choir and Head of the Hospitality Committee. While serving at Rock Creek Baptist Church, "Flo" also helped her son (Pastor Smith) as a member of the Pastor's Aide Committee at the Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle Church, Inc., in Conyers, Georgia. She led many to believe that God
is the true meaning of life and that 1esus is the Savior
for all mankind. Her love was cooking for the family and others. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters and children. It was within her spiritual and physical life that she exemplified the true meaning of what it was to help all of those who were in need.
