Obituary
Rev. Alonza McDaniel, the son of the late Sam and Ellen McDaniel, was born in NichQls, S. C. where he spent hris boyhood. Later he moved to Sellers, S. C.
He was unitted in wedlock to the late Miss Thomasina Hunt. To this union were born thrPP f'hilr1r~n . !!i:: ~~:~:::::::. ma1:'riage was to the late Miss Jane Elerbee, who preceded him to the grave. He was then united in wedlock to Mrs. Dorothy Chancy.
He became a member of Friendship Baptist Church during his early years~ Many years ago, he moved back to Nichol~ where he has made his home. He served as pastor of Martin Chapel in Horry County for a while, and has prea'Ched in many pulpits. He is known by many people, having served in various communities. He passed away at his home Thursday morning, June 17, 1971 after a long illness.

C.; one son, Albert McDaniel of New York; two step-children; 20 grandchildren: lZ great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
