MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO!
When I come to the end of the day And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room. Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love we once shared...
Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone. It's all part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds ...
Miss me, but let me go.
Acknowledgments
Perhaps you sang a lovely song, or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers if so, we saw them there. Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words, as any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Perhaps you prepared some tasty food or maybe furnished a car, Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from afar.
Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much ~ whatever the part!

Afterglow
I would like the memory of me to be a happy one. I would like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I would like to leave an echo whispering softly down the way of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I would like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun
of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
