CONWAY McCLINTON was born February 14, 1910 to Alice and Oglesby McClinton. He was one of seven children born to this union.
He departed this life on Wednesday, March 4, 1981 after a long illness. He leaves to mourn his passing: a loving wife; three children, Harold Washington, Lawrence Washington and Valorie Wahsingotn; one sister, Mrs. Clyde Givans of Senatobia, Mississippi; one aunt, Mrs. Ira Williams of Chicago, Illinois; two grandchildren, Sheena Patrice and Harold, Jr.; one niece, Mrs. Gerdie Jelks of Chicago, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid. When the wicked, even tnine enemies and my foes came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
