Reflections
Mr. Napoleon McCier, affectionately known as "Nick" was born on January 12, 1967 to the late Charles G. McCier and Jonie R. Gordon in Atlanta, Georgia.
Napoleon received his primary education at Thomas H. Slater Elementary and his secondary education at Luther Judson Price High School, where he was the school (Wildcat) Mascot. He was also in a Non-violence group called "The Skulls".
"Nick" leaves to cherish his wonderful memories to his: three children; Demario Cortez Lamar, Napoleon Lamar and Jessica Nicole Lamar, mother; Rev. & Mrs. Marvin Gordon (Jonie), sister; Valerie McCier, three brothers; A. Craig Adams, Zette McCier and Carlo McCier, a host of n1eces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
"I'm Free"
Don't cry for me, now I am Free, I am following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all. I couldn't stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found my peace at the close of the day. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seem all so brief, God wanted me now and he has set me free.
