OBITUARY Mrs Lula Mays was born in Orchard Hill, Georgia to the late Mr and Mr_s Henry Ison. She attended the Common Sc~ools in Lamar County Geo~g1a . At an early age she joined the Holy Grove Baptist Church where she served faitlLful .for many years. Sh~ -vras married to the late Mr Henry Mays. To this union was born one son who preceeded her in death. She became a member of. the Eastern Star Chapter Rachel No. 1290 E S on May 28th, 1919 and became a life member. ~ter moving to Concord, Georgia she joined the New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Concord where she served faithful until her death. She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, one brother, neicies, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
