LIFE REFLECTION
Myron Llewellyn Martin-Boykins was born November 2, 1960 in Brewton, Alabama and grew up in Evergreen, Alabama. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age. He attended military and public schools and graduated from Evergreen High School in 1979. He went on to attend the University of Alabama where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. Shortly after graduating he enlisted in the United States Navel Officers Corps where he was commissioned as an ensign. After eight years of dedicated service, he received an honorable discharge as a 2nd Lieutenant. Myron relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and after various positions of employment in the city; he obtained employment with the Atlanta Fulton County Library System in March of 1994. He joined Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Roberts. He was an active member of the church and a staff writer for the Horizon Newsletter. Myron received his Masters Degree in Human Resources in 2005. He had recently obtained his business license in hopes of starting his own company. Myron continued to pursue his dreams and visions until the day that God called him home.

Martin, Columbus, Georgia, sister, Marcia Allen (Vince), Columbus, Georgia; brother, Marvin H. Boykins II, Fort Stewart, Georgia; sister Michele Boykins, Columbus, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Mariah Allen, Tatiyana Guidry, Kyra Woodberry, and Vince Allen, II; aunts and uncles include Edward Martin, Jr. (Verdell) Gallatin, Tennessee; Fredrick Martin, New Orleans, Louisiana, Shirley Clay, Columbus, Ohio. Others who shared the joy of his life include a dear friend, Yvonne Florence, Sylvia Culver and other co-workers of the Fulton County Library System and The Ebenezer Baptist Church Family and a host of relatives and friends.
