:Motfier}f_rtie (/). :Martin was born June 8, 1913 in Lee County,
Alabama to the late Houston and Mattie Dunn. A young hard working Christian woman, Mother Martin left Alabama and moved to Roswell, Georgia. There she met and married the late Mitchell Martin. She was employed by the Fulton County Board of Education for many
years. A job that she truly enjoyed until she retired.
Mother Martin joined Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a devoted and faithful member, also attending Sunday School and Bible Study. She was a member of the Choir, Usher Board, The Senior Ministry and Groveway Community Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted cousin and caregiver, Mildred Blake; a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, special grandchildren and friends.
