Was born February 7, 1921 to John Baccus and Leanna Jones in Monroe, GA. She attended Good Hope School.
Ollie Mae became a Christian at an early age and was baptize at Good Hope Baptist Church in Good Hope, Georgia.
She was preceded by two brothers, George and Walter one sister, Annie Francis.
Ollie Mae was united in marriage to James Willie Heard at the age of 19 and to this union four sons, James Harvest, Willie Joe, Richard and Robert Lee, two daughters, Willie Mae and Mary Revoina.
Ollie Mae moved to Atlanta in 1954 and she joined Jones Avenue Church under the Late Bishop George Briley. There she was a faithful member and in the choir for over 20 years.
Ollie Mae later married Jimmie Lee Marks, Sr. and in this union they were blessed with 3 beautiful children , one son, Anthony Darnell and two daughters, Patricia and Diane.
Over the years, Ollie Mae was employed by Atlanta Journal Constitution and was a supervisor with Lockett Tile Company.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 blessed children, Mrs. Willie Mae Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heard (Seneca), Mr. and Mrs. Robert Heard (Monteen), Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth, Cain, Sr. (Patricia), and Mrs. Diane Birdsong, 32 Grandchildren, 40 Great grandchildren and many, many love ones.
