as born on July 9, 1942 in Hollywood, FL to James Hill and Annie White Hill. She transitioned from is life on April 27, 2014. Known for her witty humor, Jean would sacrifice any joke for a good laugh.

ean Mary graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1959. She later attended Atlanta Area ech and Grady Memorial Hospital Nursing Program where she graduated with a nursing diploma as License Practical Nurse.

ean worked as a nurse for Georgia Regional Hospital Atlanta for 25 years. She enjoyed reading, ng, watching baseball, and playing card games like Bid Whist. She was known by family and nds for her charm, wit and edgy sense of humor. Jean never shied away from a good debate or
ively discussion and imparted wisdom on everyone who conversed with her.

ean Mary Ma-Nais was married to Jessie Ma-Nais for 30 years until his passing. Through their marriage, he gave birth to seven children: Roxanne Wallace, Jesse K. Ma-Nais, Maryum Ma-Nais-Thomas, Zean a-Nais, Niger Ma-Nais, Silas A. Ma-Nais and Jessica Ma-Nais.

he was preceded in death by her loving husband: Jesse Ma-Nais, parents: Annie White and James ill, brother: Williams "Uncle Billy" Hill, sister: Victoria "Vicky" Phillips, uncles: Malachi White nd William White, aunts: Golden White Beneby, Hazel White Lopez, Rosa Lee White Smith; grand-
nts: Eugene and Mary White.
