Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Lindsey the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponie Sturdivant was born in Troup County. She was married to Mr. Robert Lindsey, Sr., August 5, 1923.
She was a member of Warren Temple Methodist Church and prior to illness an active member of the choir and the Woman's Society of Christian Service.
She passed suddenly Monday, August 14, 1961 at 503 Union Street.
Survivors are her husband, Mr. Robert Lindsey, one daughter, Joan Lindsey of LaGrange, one son, Charlie Robert Lindsey of New York, two brother Epps Sturdivant and Tony Sturdivant of Detroit, Mich. three grandchildren, nine nieces, seven nephews, six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In everybody's garden a little rain must fall, n ife)s sweetest fairest flowers, Wouldn't grow and bloom at all-
And though the clouds hang heavy, So heavy, Oh! My Friend. I'm sure that God who sends the shower Will send the rainbow's end.
