At Midnight On New Year's Eve, December 31, 1923, while the world was celebrating the incoming year, Irene Baldwin-Brown was being aided by a mid-wife while bringing in another little brown baby girl. Wiley her husband stood by her side and held her hand. There was no pain medicine, only the name of Jesus and her husband's coaching. Around 12:01 AM, they saw and held Annie Rene Brown for the first time. Annie Rene was the seventh of ten children that included Elsie Brown Leslie (Olin), Willie Amos Brown (Annie Gauldin), Hill Amos, Obedice B.
