_ OUT IN THE FIELDS WITH GOD The little cares that fretted me,
I lost them yesterday, Among the fields above the sea,
Among the winds at play, Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees, Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees. The foolish fears of what might pass
I cast them all away Among the clover-scented grass
Among the new-mown hay, Among the rustling of the corn
Where drowsy poppies nod. Where ill thoughts die and good are born- Out in the Fields with God!

THE SHEPHERD'S PSALM
':- e Lord ~s :....y s.hepher ; I shall not wan~.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for his name's sake. Yea , though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23
