Reflections ofLife
Frances Kendrick was born to the late Ella
Kendrick in Atlanta, Georgia on August 20, 1935. Preceded her in death was her brother Richard Benford. Frances was raised in Lithonia, Georgia with her Aunt Marion (John) Turner until the age of ten. She was reared with her cousins Vera Dukes, Lois Scott, Willie Turner and Mattie (Dunnie) Dukes-Woods. At an early age Frances accepted Christ as her personal savior and became a member of AntiochLithonia Missionary Baptist Church. After moving to the Edgewood community she later joined Beulah Baptist Church where she diligently served on several ministries. Frances servitude extended beyond the church and many knew her for her natural talent and gift as a custom Tailor and Seamstress. Sewing and Alterations were a vital part of her life. Many days and nights were spent preparing fine garments that
Frances leaves to cherish her memories: her loving children, Cynthia A. Kendrick & Michael B. Kendrick. Three Grandkids Mandarin Kendrick, Christopher (Katie) Kendrick & Austin Long of Southfield, Ml, Great Granddaughter Kayleigh Kendrick and a host of other relatives and friends. Frances was loved by many and her extended family is to include God-Daughter, Charlene White (Neva, Shannon (Chartavia & Avery)), Paul (Monica) Daniels, Tenika (Jeffrey) Copeland (Tiera, Ahjahnae,Taylour & Asia) Dear Friends Joanne Smith, Michelle (Ashleigh) Randolph, Bernice Hansberry and her caregivers Doris Vinson and Rosemary Truitt.
God Saw You Getting Tired
God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "come to me." You didn't deserve what you went through, So He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best And when I saw you sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back To suffer that again. -Author Unknown
