Obituary
Lonzie Edward Kellam was born on December 4, 194.5 to the late Lonzie and Hattie Kellam in Atlanta (he was a Grady baby). He graduated from Price
High School in 1964 and shortly after entered the US Army where he served 1 tour of duty in South Korea. He met

N orrnan Jean Person in 1968 and
! united in holy matrimony on
April12, 1971.
They were married for 43 years ; from this union was born his lst child Tarla Lonnette and his 2nd child (DJ) Lonzie Edward Kellam J r for his name sake. Upon returning to the states he worked briefly for Lockheed Martin. He also worked as a butcher for several years. Lonzie retired from Publix Supermarket. After his retirement a series of illnesses caused him to be hospitalized for the past 3 years. One of Lom':ie's deepest desires was to give his life to Christ.
On May 4, 2014. he joined Mt Carmel Baptist Church and on May 8, 2014 he gained his wings and joined his father, mother and sister (Laverne). The number 8 in the Bible represents a new beginning a new order of creation and man's true born again event when he is resurrected from the dead into eternal life. He will forever be remembered in the heart of his beloved wife Jean, his devoted daughter Tarla, his loving son DJ (Jeana) his only grandchild Jaela 1he loved so much) his caring sister Sharon, his close and supportive brothers Terry, Stanley, Donald (Shirley), Warren and Gary (Veta). He will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews ,cousins relatives and friends.
