Ja#IU'JJ ~JtHI41, fi., was born on July 22, 1954 to the
parentage of James and Roberta Jones in Devereux, Georgia. His father, James Henry Jones, Sr. and his sister, Valerie Jones preceded him in death.
JanutJ was affectionately called, "Junior" by his family and
friends. At an early age, James joined Powell Grove Baptist Church. Shortly after high school, James joined the United States Army and served from July 7, 1977 to June 6~ 1980. During his life' s journey, he was employed by Griffin Pipe, Rheem, McGaw, and lastly the United States Postal Services, where he worked until retirement in 2003.
On Saturday, June 17, 2017, God called His son home from labor to get his reward.
J(I,I'J'UJJ leaves precious memories with his mother, Roberta
Jones; four siblings, Patricia Chatman, Alberta (Carlton, Sr.) Ransom, Sherry (Kenneth) Powell and Gregory (Annette) Jones; three aunts, Thelma Christian, Susie Fluellen, and Lillie Boyer; one uncle, Richard Devero; a godsister, Velma Welch (Rev. W. Welch) and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.

My loved one, oh so dear But you see, The Master called me;

A Heaven bound ticket for me And I knew that He would call me When He felt my work was done!
