Mr. Joe L. Johnson~ Sr.~ to the union of the late Mr. & Mrs. George Johnson~ ~s born Octop~r 12~ 1916~ in Jones County~ Georgia.
At an early age~ he joined the St. James A~.M. E. Church in Monticello~ Georgia. after moving to Atlanta~ Georgia~ he united himelf with the Inspirational Baptist Church~ and lAJas a faithful Member .until he became ill.
He was united in Holy matrimony with Miss. Ella Oliver~ and to this union six children were born.
He lAJas called from labor to reward Sunday~ April 19~ 1987~ and leaves to cherish his memory a very loving and devoted wife Mrs. Ella Johnson; six children~ Mr. J. L. Johnson~ Mrs. Evelyn Morton~ Mr. Paul R. Johnson~ Mrs. Debbie Ems~ adn Mr. Lewis Oliver Johnson; two daughters in law~ t~o sons in law; .two sist~rs, Mrs. Essie Alexander~ and Mrs. Annie M. Terry; two . brothers~ Mr. Frank Johnson~ and M~. Willie Johnson~ 14 Grand children~ two great grand children~ neices~ nephews and other relatives.
