Hilliard Johnson, Jr. was born on March 21, 1936 in Demascus, Georgia to the late Hilliard Johnson, Sr. and the former Ludie Holder.
He graduated from Arlington Vocational High School in Arlington, Georgia in 1955. He served in the Navy and traveled extensively while in the military. Upon finishing his military duty, he settled down to work twenty-one years for Sears, Roebuck and Company.
Mr. Johnson departed this life on Thursday, October 7, 1999 after a brief illness. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Rhonda of Atlanta, Georgia; niece, Sherlie Ann Johnson, Atlanta; two nephews, Kenneth Johnson, Atlanta and Jason Austin; great-niece, Korrie Payne, Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
