The family of the deceased expresses heartfelt thanks to everyone for every expression of thoughtfulness and consideration during the hours of grief and stress.

Mrs Ellen Johnson

Mrs. Ellen Johnson was born on May 3, 1873
in Green County and was the widow of the late Reverend Mr. Anthony Johnson to which union ~~s born four children - three girls and one boy. Only two children of that union survive.
Mrs. Johnson~ as a girl, became n Christian and joined the Springfield Baptist Church, where she distinguished herself as a devoted disciple'
of Jesus Christ. In 1929, she moved to Atlanta,
and became a member of the West Hunter Baptist Church until during the mid 40 1s. Later she . joined Providence Baptist Church under the pastorate of Reverend L. M. Tobin. In this Church she distinguished herself still asa symbol of what a Christian is and can become, in service and devotion, until her death.
She leaves to mourn a few relatives and a host of friends.
