Mrs. Bessie Johnson, daughter of the late Mr. Green Gibson and Mrs. Lorena Gibson, and the husband of Mr. Nathan Johnson passed away at the Polk General Hospital July 10, 1975, at 6:45p.m. after a brief illness.
She joined the Berry Grove Baptist Church at an early age. A member of the Senior Choir, she also served on the #1 Usher Board and participated in all activities of the Church. She was joined in Holy Matrimony September, 1930. IN ADDITION TO HER HUSBAN~, MR NATHAN JOHNSON OF CEDARTOWN.
She is survived by: 1 daughter - Mrs. Catherine Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana; 1 son - Mr. David Johnson of Detroit, Michigan; 8 grand children; 4 great grandchildren; her mother - Mrs. Lorena Gibson of Cedartown, Georgia; 4 sisters- Mrs. Helen Carter, Mrs. Irene Findley, Miss Lorena Gibson, and Mrs. Clifford Pollard, all of Detroit, Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Lord is My Shepherd and I shall not want.
