Mrs. Amanda Jarrell Johnson was born to the late Mr. Ude Mapp and Miss Amanda Boone, August 15, 1927. She attended elementary school in Siloam and Greensboro High.
At an early age she joined the New Springfield Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. B. R. Watts. She later moved to Atlanta where she joined Mt. Sinai Baptist.
She leaves to mourn: husband, Mr. Edward Johnson, Jr.; mother, Mrs. Amanda B. Mapp of Siloam, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara J. Hughley and Mrs. Rossiland V. Middlebrooks; two granddaughters, Misses Alethea D. Chapple and Shameka S. Chapple; sisters and brothers, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Childs and family of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Anthony and family of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Winston Mapp and family of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Mapp and family of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. James Claude Mapp and family of Siloam, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Revel, Mr. and Mrs. James D. Howell, Mr. and Mrs. George Smith and family of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Mae Fletcher and family, and the Jarrell Family, and a host of nieces, nephews
