OBITUARY
Mr. George Jenkins, Sr. was Born October 8, 1910 in Meriwether County, Ga., to the late Ida Dean and William Jenkins. He was married to Mrs. Mar~ garet Cousins. To this.union six children were born. He later moved fo Hog_a_nsville, Ga. , where he joined the St. MaryUnited Methodist Church. He leaves to mourn his passing, a devoted loving wife, Margaret Je1~ins, six thlldren, Jerry W., Ida Ruth, Willie C., George, Jr., Tommy C., arid Myra Nell, and two sisters, Ora Lee Holmes, Eva Alexandria, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one niece, and two nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
God hath not promised skies always blue Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through,
God hath not promised sun without rain Joy without sorrow, peace without pain
But God hath promised strength for the day Rest for the labor, Light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy, undying love.
