Obituary
Mr. George James, Jr., was born July 19, 1922,.in Russell County, Alabama, to Mrs. Fannie Mae Jackson James and the late Mr. George James, Sr.
He joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Fort Mitchell, Alabama, at an early age under the leadership of Rev. J. C. Harris. He served as an usher on Board No. 1 Later joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. James was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Ronella Davis to this union four children were born.
He died March 6, 1988, at 8:00 p.m. at the Phenix Medical Park Hospital, Phenix City, Alabama.
He leaves to remember his legacies and deeds, a loving mother, Mrs. Fannie Mae James, Phenix City, Alabama; one son, Turner James, Indianapolis, Indiana; three daughters, Linda James, Los Angeles, California, Bonnie James, Indianapolis, Indiana, Jackie James, Britain; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Adell Jones, Phenix City, Alabama, Mrs. Katie iones, Columbus, Georgia, Mrs. Fannie L. Smith, Pomona, California, Mrs. Glady Dawell, Indianapolis, Indiana; four brothers, Gus James, Columbus, Georgia, Lewis James, M. C. James, Phenix City, Alabama, Clarence James, Los Angeles, California; two aunts, Susie Daniel, Phenix City, Alabama, Annie Lee Williams, Indianapolis, Indiana; many nieces; nephews; cousins; a host of friends.
