OBITUARY
LONNIE LEVI JACKSON was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 2, 1937 to Arthur 8.nd Rosalie Jackson. He attended Jenner Elementary School, Wells High School and Wilson Junior College.
He joined St. Matthew United Methodist Church at an early age and sang in the youth choir. Lonnie married Patricia Jones, establishing a family of loving daughters.
Lonnie enjoyed fishing and cooking. He barbecued at many gatherings.
Lonnie was a dedicated worker and served in the Post Office for twenty-three years. He was a staunch union steward for many years. He continued tt.:' serve in a supervisory capacity J or the last six years.
Lonnie departed this life suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 1985.
Lonnie leaves to mourn his passing: a wife, Patricia; three daughters, Lori, Renee and Adrienne; a son-in-law, a granddaughter, a sister, three aunts, two uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A host of friends will miss him.
