CLOSING

Finding peace Ever wish we could start over, just one more chance? Well we can't go back, only forward. To sit in sorrow only leads to misery and there is no guarantee that if we had done things differently things would have ended up different. We cannot dwell on the ifs of this world, if we had only done that, eat that, etc. Our days on this earth are not in our hands, it's in God's hand. Psalm 139:16 So we will cry which can be the scariest thing yet the bravest we bare our hearts, prepare for healing and let God take care of the rest. Ira l'lllove and miss you fo rever!

I am going to miss you Uncle Ira so much. I am asking God to help make me as good as or even a quarter as good as you and daddy. If I've ever loved someone as much as I loved my own daddy, it would be you, my Uncle Ira (my daddy's little brother).

Vvhen \Ne vvere young I used to want to foiiow Ira and his friends round but he would always be so mean to me. After we grew up I told him how mean he was to me. He said he didn't want me around his friends because of the language that they used . He was protecting me, he loved me and he was protecting me . I loved my brother and that 's why I was so glad to have been the last sibling to talk to
him. Isaiah 26:19, Isaiah 11:6-9. Bougie (Marie)
To my Uncle Ira, I can honestly say tha t you brought so many things that I love about you to the family and the one th ing that I always admired most about you is that you were The Best at being a father. Growing up my dad was never around so I depended on my grandfather's support as a dad and granddad. I seen that same quality in you, you loved your grandchildren as they were your very own. I applaud you for that. You may have done it naturally but I'm sure it meant the world to your children and grandchildren. Your sense of humor and your loving heart always let us know that you cared even all the way from California or Georgia. I love you so much and I am going to miss seeing your smiling face. I want you to know that I will be here with your kids and grandkids because as you would tell us we are all family and we need to stick together, and of course in a joking way you would say "you can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives". I will never forget you and I am thankful that you were in my life. Rest in peace Uncle Ira you were truly a trooper! Love you always, Your great niece DuVon.

I love you daddy and you will always be my superman . Yetta
While sitting here drinking my coffee I remembered on Paddock, Ira use to snap his finger and say a couple crazy words and I would get up and fix him a cup of coffee . Everywhere he went I tried to follow him when I was a little girl. I thought he was so cool until he would jump on off his bike and chase me home. He would be so mad, the next day I would do it all over again. I think it was that he was always with his friends and I wanted him to be with me. I have so many memories of Ira I would bring some things up and we would laugh . I will miss him but I will always have him in my mind and heart. See you later, love your baby sister Alice (Scooter).
