was born on February 6, 1952 in Maclison, Georgia to Gladys Ingram D asher. She was preceded in death by her father, Roosevelt Mitchell and
her stepfather, Willie Dasher.
Brenda was raised by her loving grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Willie Ben Ingram of Maclison, GA., She was a 1969 honor graduate of Pearl High School, Madison, GA. and in 1971 she attended Atlanta Area Technical
School where she received her Associate in Early Childhood Development, She taught in the Atlanta Public Schools System for four years, before relo-
cating to Athens, Ga., after she was united in Holy Matrimony on July 4, 1975 to Mr. Gary Lamar Smith. She was a loving wife, homemaker often providing childcare in her home during her sons early years. She was currently employed at GAB Robbins- North American International Corpora-
tion for the past 20 years. She came to Christ in her youth at Morgan County Church of Christ.
Brenda later became a member of Moreland Avenue Church of Christ working with the church nursery and food committee. Brenda loved sports,
especially football, attending family gatherings, gardening (green plants flourished under her care), food preparation and taking care of babies &
t o d d lers.
Brenda will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her and dependant on her loving generosity.
Brenda leaves to mourn: a loving husband, Mr. Gary Lamar Smith Sr; three sons, G. Lamar Jr., Eric Darrell, and Brian Smith; four grandchildren,
Erica Lashay, Justice Darrell, I<.aelum Alexander & Jaden D arrell Smith; one great-granddaughter, Amber Smith; mother, Mrs. Gladys Ingram Dasher; three sisters, Evelyn Delores Stanley Brunclidge (Edward) of East Point,
GA, Constance Mitchell Thomas and Diana Mitchell Green Oerry) of Macli-
son, GA; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Houston of Hampton, GA and Sandra Hughley Mason (Daryl); four brothers, Gregory Mitchell (Regina), Brunswick, GA., Cleveland Jerome Dasher, Ronald Bernard Dasher, and Jesse Lee Dasher all of the Atlanta GA; four brothers-in-law; Wayne, I<.enneth (Patrice), Tony and Jerome (Debbie) Hughley, of Conyers, GA; five God
