On March 9, 1967, Paul and Grace Harrison were blessed with a daughter, Tatia Ca-Sandra Huntley, born in Grady, Alabama. At the age of six, they relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Tatia confessed and accepted Christ at an early age.
Tatia attended Peachcrest Elementary and Towers High School. She received an Associates degree from Dekalb Technical College in Business Administration.
Tatia was employed 20 years at Verizon Wireless of Alpharetta, Georgia as an Account Coordinator.
She was a beautiful outgoing loving person who moved to the beat of Michael Jackson. She took pleasure in people and was a stranger to no one. Tatia enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, parents and a host of friends. Everyone knew she loved her Daddy. She also loved the University of Alabama football team. Her smile and laugh were everlasting and she possessed a great sense of humor.
She met and fell in love and married William "Chuck" Huntley in 1998 and from this union, two beautiful children were born, Kofi and Nivea. Tatia was a dedicated and loving wife and mother.
Tatia departed this life on August 22, 2014. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, a devoted husband, William "Chuck" Huntley; two children, Kofi Amir and Nivea Mali Huntley; parents, Paul and Gracie Harrison; grandmother, Girlene Moore; brother-in-law, Roy (Lynette) Huntley, Nathan (Rita) Huntley. and Gary (Avis) Huntley; sister-in-law, Mildred Martin, Mattie (Clarence) Burns, and Sarah (Thomas) Rivers; two half-sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Allen Martin and sister-in-law, Cynthia Ann Huntley.
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
