OBITUARY His Life
...from the rising ofthe sun
The sun rose on July 15, 1927 when Estee Hughes was born to the late Wimberly and Lottie Hughes in Twiggs County, Jeffersonville, Georgia where he attended Twiggs County Schools.
Estee's eventual move to Atlanta blessed him with his loving wife Betty Jean Hughes (Phillips) who has now greeted him at the gates with their two precious sons, Leonard and Eric Hughes.
Estee was a hard worker and a good provider. He worked and retired from Rich's, Aunt Fanny's Cabin and The Georgia Building Authority as a Chef.
...until the going down of the same. The name ofthe Lord shall be praised.
And, it is this Spirit that will continue to live in the hearts of those Estee leaves to cherish his memories most: four loving and cherished daughters -Dorothy Ann Hughes, Celetta Heath (Kevin), Adrian Hughes, Gretchen Williams, and one son-Stanley Hughes, and four granddaughters- Nicolian Hughes, Courtney Powell, Demetria Culver, Monique Powell, one great granddaughter- Ny'Eiah Hughes, one brother- Wimberly Hughes, Jr. (Effie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
