OBITUARY
M/Sgt. Robert Lee Howell was born in Taylor County to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Howe 11.
He attended. public schools in Taylor County. At an early age, the family moved to Powersville, Georgia. During early manhood, he moved his residence to Bibb County, Macon, Georgia.
For a number of years, Sgt. Howell was employed by the Central of Georgia Railroad.
On May 10, 1942 he joined the U. S. Air Force and served honorably until his retirement, January 3, 1963.
He was united in marriage to Mrs. Mary Walker Brooks. To this union one daughter was born.
M/Sgt. Robert Lee Howell departed this life on November 7, 1973.
Survivors are a wife, Mrs. Mary Howell; one daughter, Mrs. Faye H. Daniels; a grandson, Jimmy Daniels, Jr.; and a son-in-law, Jimmy Daniels, Sr. of Springfield, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Lawrence and Mrs. Dessie Ola Ware, both of Macon; two uncles, Jack Sanford of Macon, Ga. and Henry Sanford of Atlanta, Ga.; three aunts, Mrs. Henry Sanford of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Jennie B. Adams of Chicago, Ill. and Mrs. Lucille Sanford of Macon, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ethyl Morris of Macon, Ga.; several brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
