Tommie Lee Hollaman-Edwards was born on March 11, 1925 in Cleveland Ohio to the parents ofrfhotnas Herald,Jr. and Mattie Roberts -Shaw. She received her early education in the Detroit public schools. As a teen, she tnoved back to Cleveland to be with her mother which is where she mel and 1narrie.d DeOtis Hollaman, Sr. To that union, there were four children born.
Deolis Hollatnan, Sr. and Deotis Hollaman, Jr. preceded her in death. In January, 1977, she 1narried George Edwards.
Totnmie lee began her nursing career in 1959 at St. Alexis Hospital and worked there as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years. She then enrolled in school to beco1ne a Licensed Practical Nurse while still working and raising four kids. She graduated with her LPN degree and in 1976 she went to work al St. Vincent Charity Hospital and stayed there for eleven years. She retired in June, 1987 and later worked part-time al Eliza Bryant Nursing Hotne as a cosmologist for the patients. She loved catalog shopping and going to the thrift stores lo shop.
She was a prayer warrior for everyone in her family and she truly loved the lord and will surely be missed by all.
She leaves to tnorn her husband George Edwards; her daughter Gloria Robinson, Atlanta Ga; son AI Hollatnan, Atlanta Ga; Murray Hollaman, Cleveland Oh; along with nine grandchildren, Deolis III, Anthony, Lynette, Tara, Deshawn, and Gloria Hollatnan, Brian Morphis, Kelly Robinson, Sr. and 'Monica Lynch; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
