Mr. Everage Hill was born May 13, 1930. He departed this life Monday, July 27, 2015. He was known as "Sonny" to family and friends. He was born in Greene County, Georgia and grew up in Bishop, Georgia. As children, he and his sister, brothers and cousins attended a little church-school called Brown Chapel. Later, he resided in Atlanta and graduated from Washington High School.
Everage joined Grant Chapel. A.M.E. Church in the 1950's and was a devoted member for over 65 years. He loved singing in the choir, and being a church Trustee. He was a proud member of the Sons of Allen.
Uncle Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, John and Effie Hill, four brothers, Walter, George, Henry, Marvin and his sister, Josephine.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, a sister-inlaw, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. We will truly miss him.
