Ashton Dru' Henley

Ashton Dru' Henley was born on September 30, 2010 to Davesha Stanley Henley and Alvin Henley. God called His angel home on Friday, December 7, 2012.
Ashton "Big Guy", "Fat Fat" Henley never met a stranger. Beginning with the first day we met Ash we knew that our family had been truly blessed. From holding his own bottle at four weeks to being potty trained at the age of 1 in five days Ashton gave us daily reasons to be amazed. Giving out the very best kisses .. . .his smile and incredible level of agility at such a young age plus his love for Bubble Guppies made him the most wonderful child.
Ashton's laugh was contagious and at the tender age of two years old he could eat you out of house and home. Even as the "best baby" ever, Ashton never liked to be babied. He brought a lifetime of love to our family in just the brief moments we were able to share with him . His spirit, love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever .
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Alvin and Davesha Henley; siblings, AI Willis, Austin Willis, and Ava Dior Henley; grandmother, Debra Thomas Stanley; grandfathers, Alvin Henley, Sr. and David L. Stanley, Jr. (Kim) ; great-grandmother, Martha Moon; aunts, Gin Stanley Motton (Alfred), Candace Stanley, Joyce Stanley and Antolina Ramirez; uncle, David "Tre" Stanley, III; first cousins, Jeffrey Perryman, Justin Perryman, Tyson Motton and Vinay Neely; god-parents, Shamekia Hardy, Johnny "Chip" Ligon, II and a host of other family members and friends. Ashton is greeted in heaven by his grandmother, Eva Moon Henley; great-grandmothers, Thelma Prescott Stanley and Etta Mae Thomas; great-grandfathers, Gordon Wesley Thomas and David L. Stanley, Sr.

It is with God's love that we express our sincere gratitude for the outpouring of prayers, calls, visits, and other expressions of kindness during our bereavement. You have lifted our hearts and lightened our burdens. Special thanks to the Willis, Eberhart, Brown, Morris Families and our entire Crown Road and Airmail (L&DC) Postal Service family. May God continue to enrich each of your lives.
