Sunrise - October II, 1965

Sunset -January 21, 2013

Patience Yvonne Turner-Hendrix was born October II, 1965, to the late Willis Turner Jr. and Ermer Gene Turner. She began her education at Knollwood Elementary and graduated from Avondale High School in Decatur, Georgia. She was enrolled at Life University pursuing a degree in Business Administration and was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, Cobb County Chapter.

Patience was the mother of one daughter, Yvonne Shanee' Elder, and the grandmother of an II-month-old grandson, Brycen Anthony Elder, the joy of her life! She had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Patience obeyed the gospel and was baptized at an early age at the Turner Road Church of Christ. She was a faithful member of the Bouldercrest Church of Christ until her death.

For the past five years, Patience was employed at Life University as an Administrative Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Finance. She loved her job and looked forward to going to work every day.

She was extremely health conscious and physically active. She exercised regularly and participated in 5K marathons. Patience was very personable and had a vibrant and infectious spirit. She was also known as a 'fashionista' and exemplified this in her everyday life!

Patience departed this life on January 21, 2013. She leaves to cherish precious memories: Ermer Gene Turner, mother; Ermer L. Matthews, grandmother; Yvonne Shanee' Elder, daughter; Wanda M. Allen (Gordon), sister; Victor L. Turner (Dr. Marjorie), twin brother; Kelvin C. Turner (Segrid), brother; Brycen Anthony Elder, precious grandson; nieces and nephews: Tristan C. Duggan, Kelvin C. Turner Jr. (KT), Zuri C. Turner, Quinten K. Turner, and April A. Allen; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Patience will be sorely missed by all who knew her!
