(j@sie Lee Jfarris, the youngest of six children, was born in
Troup County, Georgia on November 10, 1924 to the late Isaiah Beasley and the late Rosie Fielder Beasley. On January 31, 2008, an angel came and closed her eyes and took her into her home of eternal rest.
Rosie started her Christian journey at an early age and united in the White Plains United Methodist Church, serving on the Communion Board and Senior Usher Board. Sister Rosie was also a member of the United Methodist Women, The Freeman Aid Society, and The Herione of Jericho #170.
Rosie Lee Beasley was united in marriage to Walter Scott Harris on September 17, 1946. To their union, ten children was born. The oldest, Linda Harris Johnson preceded her in death. Her beloved husband, "Scott" also preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her passing six sons, Mr. Isaiah Harris (a devoted daughter-in-law, Missie Harris), Mr. James Harris, Mr. Thomas Harris, Mr. Ricky Harris (Yolanda), Mr. Michael Harris (Angela), Mr. San Harris (Cassandra); three daughters, Ms. Martha Reeves, Mrs. Sherry Dean (Clarence), Mrs. Phyllis Williams (James Curtis); grandchildren, Jared Lee Johnson, Melinda Baker, Wendall Harris (Valerie), Derrick Harris (Kelly), Roderick Malcolm, and Freda Harris, Kamicia and Shakeka Dean, Shaun and Vincent Harris, Marcus Towns, Nosha Harris, Ayesha and Makezmon Harris, Darius and Aleah Williams; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Thank you God for giving us such a sweet, giving and loving mother. We pray that you will allow us to meet again in heaven.
