ReDections ofLik
Rodney was born on the day of ow Lord, june 15, 1966, to Robert Hanis,Jr. and Gl01;a Cannon in Atlanta, Georgia.
Rodney's early years of life were directed and influenced by his father, Robert Harris, Jr. and his grandparents, Reverend and Mrs. Willie Digby and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Harris, Sr.
Rodney mati;culated in the DeKalb County School System by way of Wadesworth Elementary School and graduated from Columbia High School.in 1984.
Rodney professed and accepted Christ at an early age. Rodney's love for Christ gave him the desire to preach the Gospel of Christ and he was ordained in 1990. He went on to Pastor the New Mars Hill Church in Rutledge, Georgia, for several years.
Rodney was employed as a Loss Prevention Specialist at Family Dollar. Rodney loved his job and often spoke of his Disnict Manager and co-workers. He took his job seriously but not so much that he could not find laughter and joy in his everyday tasks.
Rodney loved his family, especially his daughter, Deanna. He thoroughly enjoyed going to tl1e Falcons' games with his father. You could always fmd Rodney laughing or telling jokes while he imitated many affluent pastors of the Atlanta meno area. Rodney always had joy in his heart when di cussing the goodness of God!
